Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has opened its new London headquarters at 25 Moorgate, offering a rooftop club space and a suite of green technologies aimed at modernizing the firm’s work environment.
Rooftop club and collaborative amenities
The top floor features a club‑style area that can host informal gatherings, creating a social hub for staff and visitors. Adjacent terraces provide open‑air seating, while a dedicated business lounge serves client meetings. A staff café on the lower level adds a casual spot for coffee breaks.
These spaces are meant to encourage teamwork, though the design also leaves room for quiet work. The layout mixes open desks with private pods, giving teams flexibility.

Green technologies built into the building
WFW highlights several sustainability measures. Reused construction materials reduce waste, while high‑performance glazing and insulation improve energy efficiency. Rooftop solar panels generate renewable power, and a rainwater harvesting system supplies non‑potable water for toilets and irrigation.
Relocation context and industry trend
The move ends a three‑decade tenure at 15 Appold Street, where WFW has been based since 1992. The London office now houses more than 500 lawyers and staff, according to internal data. Managing partner Lindsey Keeble said the relocation reflects confidence in the firm’s future and its ambition to create “inspiring, sustainable workplaces across our global network.”
“Our new office provides a fantastic environment for collaboration, client engagement and innovation,” Keeble added. “Whether clients and colleagues are based in London or simply passing through as part of their travels, we look forward to welcoming them to our new home.”

WFW joins a wave of recent City relocations that includes Latham & Watkins, Linklaters, Kirkland & Ellis, and Addleshaw Goddard.
Announced moves by A&O Shearman, HSF Kramer, Clifford Chance, RPC and Mishcon de Reya suggest the trend will continue.
